Everything you might want to know.
Is Tarro a transport company?
No. Tarro is a matching marketplace. We connect customers with independent, licensed operators. Tarro does not own vehicles, dispatch drivers or carry anything itself.
What does Tarro cost?
Searching and listing are free. When an operator accepts a request, the customer pays a 5% Tarro booking fee and the operator pays a 5% Tarro success fee. Nothing else.
Why is spare capacity cheaper?
The vehicle, aircraft or trailer is already scheduled to travel. Filling the empty capacity is upside for the operator and value for you.
When do I get the operator's contact details?
Once both marketplace fees have been successfully paid, both parties' contact details are unlocked so you can arrange everything directly.
Who do I pay for the transport?
The operator, directly. Tarro only ever collects its 5% marketplace fee — never the transport price or a balance.
How do operators pay the success fee?
Operators save a payment method during onboarding, so Tarro charges the 5% success fee automatically when they accept a confirmed match.
Who is responsible for the transport?
The operator. Tarro makes the match; the transport agreement, service and terms are directly between the customer and the operator.
Who vets the operators?
Every operator on Tarro is verified for licensing, insurance and vehicle standards before their capacity goes live.
Can I list my fleet?
Yes, free. Head to the operator sign-up and complete verification. Most operators are live within 24 hours.
